Dominique Walton Headshot

Dominique Walton although new to Promoting is not new to boxing. Dominique started his Amateur career back in 2005. He was a teen always getting into trouble and always fighting. Going through several placements and programs a DHS worker said “you know what I got to get you into the gym” and he took him to a boxing gym. That is when he decided to take up Boxing.

In 2008 Dominique went to Joe Hands gym where he met Wade and Randy Hinnant, although learning the sport of boxing Dominique still got arrested.

In 2009 along side wade and Randy Hinnant he started fighting amateur fights. He was really good. He won 7 Golden glove tournaments. In 2015, he turned pro underneath Kevin Carmody at the Lonnie Young Center. In 2016 his uncle came up with a job opportunity that had him making much more money than Boxing would ever pay at that time so Dom got totally interested in business and stop Boxing ,he would later go on to open his own boxing gym and fitness center.

Boxing was totally on the back burner, but something was missing, Until now he was missing Boxing so he came back to train at his own gym, before he knew it fighters had him training them. He still felt something was missing. This had him wanting to Promote. One of the main reasons why he wanted to promote was he was watching how other promoters was treating fighters and he wanted to make a change, do things differently, set a higher stage.

Teflon Promotions was born and now Dom wants to be the elite Promoter in Philly. He is all about the youth and setting a stage for them. He wants the youth to take their frustrations out in the ring and stop the violence in philly streets. Dom promises to add a younger flavor to boxing , his vision is to go straight to the top with his team.
